CEnet - Infrastructure for Learning and Learning Management

The ICT infrastructure deployed within Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga complements our association with CEnet. Our membership as a founding Diocese in the CEnet initiative provides numerous benefits to individual schools, as well as the school system as a whole.

All primary and secondary schools within our system, along with administrative offices, are connected to a secure Virtual Private Network, delivering increased efficiencies in resource sharing between sites, and providing a platform for learning, support and development.

Since the inception of Catholic Network Australia in 2010 schools and colleges have been provided with improved broadband access via a mix of fibre and ADSL technologies. Greater bandwith facilitates the use of interactive technologies such as videoconferencing which enables greater interschool communication and learning exchanges.
